The elevated temperature seamlessly returns the secondary steam to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, driving evaporation and facilitating a remarkable cycle of latent heat of vaporization recycling.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, consisting of key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. It is expertly designed with a compact structure, ensuring not only robust performance but also ease of maintenance, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications where reliability and efficiency are paramount.
3.3.1 With precision and care, place the compressor base integrally upon its foundation. Beneath the base, artfully position wedge-shaped shims, masterfully crafted to achieve impeccable unit leveling.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped irons, ensuring ultimate stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, delicately spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points for added security.
Users must meticulously manufacture and tailor these wedges to their specific needs. Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for seamless alignment.
The inclined plane should connect flawlessly, and the wedge iron should boast a bearing capacity no greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ the precision of a level to achieve optimal alignment. The exacting standards dictate an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for the unit.

3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling alignment by adhering to these essential prerequisites:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply to ensure a safe working environment;
2) Meticulously remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for loosening and precise motor adjustments;
6) Meticulously prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to perfectly support the motor's footing, ensuring they are pristine and perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and base.
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an impeccable accuracy of 0.01mm, procured by the customer;
8) Prepare an exquisite bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket serves as a meticulous mount for the dial indicator, with its probe poised on the compressor wheel hub's edge;
10) With precision, adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center is elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. The coupling end face deviation should be within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then rigorously review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving both 'levelness' and perfect alignment of the casing, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten for unwavering stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation is its hallmark; yet, it is imperative to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could irreversibly harm the compressor. Ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristinely clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipelines falling short of these standards require immediate rectification. 3.3.6 Masterfully install both inlet and outlet compressor pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines interfacing with the compressor should be independently supported by an additional bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supportive equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, you are ready to initiate the thrilling stage of the compressor operation test. This crucial phase will ensure that every component is functioning in perfect harmony, guaranteeing peak performance and reliability.
3.3.8 To maintain optimal efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring connecting the compressor to this control cabinet must be securely encased in threading pipes routed underground, providing a seamless and protected connection. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, it is essential to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within this cabinet to the lines extending to the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless communication network.
