3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Utilize perfectly crafted wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve the desired level of precision. These shims will play an essential role in adjusting the unit to perfection.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit reaches its optimal level, execute spot welding on the wedges at four to five strategic points to ensure stability and durability. These wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by you, tailored to the real-world conditions on-site. The contact surfaces need a professional finish to guarantee even contact on the inclined planes, ensuring superior support and reliability.

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure the unit's perfect leveling. Requirements for leveling are stringent: the axial level tolerance is set at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level needs to be within 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless operation.

3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment. Prior to starting this intricate process, verify that the following conditions are strictly met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off to guarantee safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a pristine, dirt-free surface to avoid disruptions;
5) Verify the motor bolt holes are suitably larger than the bolts, allowing for necessary adjustments by loosening;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to secure the motor's footing. Each gasket must be devoid of any attachments and lie flat, avoiding the use of long and thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base;
7) Utilize a top-quality dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which you should procure for this procedure;
8) Prepare the bracket necessary to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying figures;
9) Equip the motor wheel hub with a mounting bracket to position the dial indicator precisely on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring accurate measurements with the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and the motor's center line with precision. The alignment allows for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, followed by a thorough review of the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) After ensuring all components are in perfect harmony, install the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of 'levelness' and precise alignment of the casing, anchor bolts must be firmly tightened. Once the machinery operates smoothly (including trial runs), these bolts should be loosened and subsequently re-tightened to secure the setup.
3.3.5 The impeller, a crucial high-speed rotating element, must be protected from any solid or liquid intrusion, as such incursions could spell irreversible damage to the compressor. It is imperative to maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that conform to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Any non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. Installing solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended to safeguard efficiency.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories, as outlined in the PI diagram. To prevent any undue stress on the compressor, these pipelines must be supported by independent brackets, as their weight should not rest upon the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its supplementary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, you are ready to proceed with the compressor's operation test. This pivotal stage ensures the seamless performance and reliability of the High-Speed Oil-Film Direct Drive Steam Compressor, paving the way for industrial excellence and efficiency.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor needs to be strategically positioned within a convenient 5 meters of the compressor. Ensure the wiring connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is securely threaded through piping that should be carefully routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating robust and efficient operational control.
