Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure a seamless installation, place the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically positioned underneath to finely adjust the unit's level, ensuring optimal performance.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. After achieving precise leveling, reinforce by spot welding the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points to ensure stability.
The user should craft and install the wedges according to specific requirements, ensuring that all contact surfaces are finished for perfect inclined plane contact.
Ensure the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm

3.3.2 Use a high-precision level to verify the unit’s alignment. The unit must meet these exacting leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Precision in coupling alignment is crucial. Prior to alignment, confirm the following preparatory steps:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the system.
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for debris or contaminants, ensuring a clean, flat surface.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to allow for adjustments. This flexibility ensures precise motor positioning.
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These should be attachment-free and sufficiently flat, avoiding the use of overly long or thin gaskets that might disrupt stability.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer should provide, for precision alignment.
8) Have a bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as shown in the accompanying figures.

10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines perfectly. The maximum acceptable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the low-speed compressor shaft center line.

11) After adjustments, secure the motor foot bolts and verify the alignment by checking the outer circle and coupling end face runout.
12) Once alignment is confirmed, reinstall the coupling intermediate section post-motor idling test for stability assurance.
3.3.4 Tighten the anchor bolts after achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing. Post mechanical operation or trial run, it is crucial to loosen the bolts, then retighten for consistent performance.

3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component demanding utmost cleanliness. Any contaminants can cause irreparable damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion grading. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified, and solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees should be installed before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 For the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported independently, relieving the compressor body from bearing excessive weight, which could impair functionality.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test.
