3.3.1 The compressor base, an integral unit, should be meticulously positioned on its foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit's level, and perform spot welding on 4 to 5 points of the wedges. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to specific conditions. The contact surface must be perfectly finished for even contact on the inclined
plane, with the wedge iron's bearing capacity not exceeding 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 For precision, utilize a level to ensure proper balance. The unit's leveling standards demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling for optimal alignment. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from foreign objects, dirt, and residues;
5) The motor's bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Have a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. Ensure gaskets are clean and flat; avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (procured by the customer);
8) Prepare a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub bracket is essential for mounting the dial indicator on the hub edge, aligning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor's feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, adhering to specified instructions. The maximum allowable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm (ensure the motor's shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with the coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securing the motor foot bolts, and recheck the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;
12) Complete the installation by attaching the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of "levelness" and casing alignment, ensure anchor bolts are firmly tightened. Following mechanical (or trial) operations, re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Thus, it's imperative that the compressor's connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Pipelines not adhering to these standards must be rectified. A recommendation is to introduce solid-liquid separation devices (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) upstream of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. It's crucial that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported independently and not by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you can seamlessly transition into conducting an operational test of the compressor. 3.3.8 For optimal safety and functionality, position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Expertly connect the compressor to the control cabinet by employing threading pipes that are strategically routed underground.
