At its core, this innovative process involves the compression of secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, utilizing a highly efficient steam compressor. This conversion of electrical energy into thermal energy results in an elevation of both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, this heat-enhanced secondary steam returns to the evaporator, heating the materials further and facilitating evaporation, thereby enabling a seamless cycle of latent heat recovery from vaporized secondary steam.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is an advanced assembly predominantly consisting of a robust compressor body, which includes components like the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, seal, all expertly designed for peak performance. Additionally, it is integrated with a coupling, motor, and electric instruments, each meticulously engineered to ensure smooth operation and optimal efficiency.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base firmly on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically positioned under the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is leveled to your satisfaction, proceed to secure the wedges with spot welding in 4 to 5 distinct points.
These wedges should be carefully crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. Ensure a smooth contact on all surfaces for even distribution.
The wedge iron's load should not exceed the threshold of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Using a precise leveling tool, find the exact level. Adhere to the leveling criteria with meticulous attention: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level should rest at 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements ensure the optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is critical. Before commencing the alignment process, ensure the following preparatory steps are rigorously followed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it remains free from foreign material, debris, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts to allow for adjustment;
6) Have an ample supply of flat, stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor foot—these should be pristine and devoid of any attachments.
7) Essential alignment tools include a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, each offering an accuracy of 0.01mm. These should be customer-provided for precision;
8) Prepare a robust bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for the dial indicator, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for accurate readings;
10) By adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum allowable deviation is a mere 0.05mm for the outer circle, with coupling end-face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once accurate alignment is confirmed, secure the motor foot bolts tightly. Re-evaluate the outer circle and end-face runout of the coupling to ensure precision.;
12) Upon completing a successful motor idling test, reintegrate the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, re-tighten for maximum security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed rotating element. Prevent any solids or liquids from entering, as they can cause irreversible damage. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to system steam corrosion standards. Should any pipeline fall short, immediate rectification is advised, potentially incorporating solid-liquid separation mechanisms like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees.
3.3.6 Properly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Attach import and export pipelines with the necessary accessories as detailed in the PI diagram. Each pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by its bracket, avoiding any load on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal functionality and efficiency.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For a seamless and secure installation, use threading pipe to connect the wiring underground from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the cabinet is perfectly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless integration.
