3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation, ensuring stability and precision with wedge-shaped shims. These wedges are crucial for achieving a perfectly level unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the compressor is level, proceed to spot weld the wedges securely at 4 to 5 points, ensuring steadfast support and alignment.
Craft the wedges as per the specific requirements of your setup. The contact surfaces should be carefully finished for even contact on inclined planes, providing maximum stability.
The load-bearing capability of each wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the perfect horizontal and axial leveling of your unit. The axial precision requirement stands at a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal standard is 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Align the coupling with precision. Before initiating this process, adhere to the following imperative steps:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to ensure safety and prevent any electrical hazards;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to provide access for alignment adjustments;
3) Take out the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate accurate alignment;
4) Assess the flatness of the motor installation plane. Ensure it is free from debris, dirt, or any obstructions for a seamless setup.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt itself, allowing for fine adjustments during installation.
6) Have a ready supply of perfectly flat and clean stainless steel gaskets. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise the integrity of the alignment process.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, ensuring your equipment is calibrated to perfection.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely attach the dial indicator. Position the probe accurately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines as closely as possible, allowing only a minimal deviation of 0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts, then review and verify the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for assurance of precision.;
12) Post-alignment, install the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the unit is perfectly leveled and aligned, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical operation or trial, revisit these bolts for final tightening to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation necessitates strict cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure these pathways are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements.To further safeguard the system, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor’s inlet pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision, adhering closely to the PI diagram for accessory installation. Ensure that the associated pipelines are supported independently by brackets, not by the compressor body, to preserve its integrity.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its auxiliary apparatus have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation reaches full solidity, the compressor is primed and ready for a comprehensive operational test. This crucial step ensures seamless future operations and optimal performance.
3.3.8 Ensure the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically placed within a convenient radius of 5 meters. The conduit carrying the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet should be expertly routed through underground threading pipes for safety and efficiency. Following the precise placement of the control cabinet, connect its wiring terminals flawlessly with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a harmonious integration and reliable communication.
