3.3.1 The compressor base should be elegantly and meticulously placed on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure flawless leveling.
Strategically position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points. The wedge should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situation for optimal results. Ensure the contact surfaces are precisely finished for even contact on the inclined
plane, with the wedge iron's bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfect balance. The unit's leveling specifications demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal
level must adhere to a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is expertly centered. Before embarking on the alignment journey, confirm these vital prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of foreign objects, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole must surpass the bolt size, allowing easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to gracefully support the motor's feet. Ensure gaskets are pristine and flat. Avoid using slender gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Deploy a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a fine accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Secure the required bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing a probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustments of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and the motor center lines to be nearly identical (or follow specific instructions). The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, then carefully review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout.;
12) Conduct a motor idling test, following which the coupling's intermediate section should be installed.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of both 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. After either mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten them for assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller is a highly sophisticated high-speed component; any solid or liquid intrusion will lead to irreversible damage. Thus, ensuring cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines conforming to the system's steam corrosion grade is paramount. Non-compliant pipelines require prompt rectification. It is highlyrecommended to implement solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the pipelines are equipped with relevant accessories, according to the PI diagram. Support pipelines using a separate bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its supplementary equipment, is securely installed and the concrete foundation is thoroughly set and hardened, it's time to embark on performing the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
