Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on its foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure perfect leveling of the unit.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is thoroughly leveled, secure the irons with spot welds at four to five points. These wedges should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the particularities of the site. The contact surface must be precisely finished to ensure a smooth, even connection.
The compressive strength of these wedge irons must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The specified leveling criteria are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.

3.3.3 Achieve precise coupling alignment. Prior to alignment, verify these essential prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power source to ensure safety;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield for access;
3) Remove the central section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Ensure the motor's installation plane is impeccably clean, free of debris and foreign matter;
5) The motor's bolt holes should exceed the bolt diameter, allowing for adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base, ensuring they are flat and devoid of contaminants. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustment;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Employ a motor hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor’s wheel hub outer edge;
10) By adjusting the motor feet’s bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. The permissible deviation for the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm (ensuring the motor shaft's center line is above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and re-examine the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout to ensure precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to finalize installation.
3.3.4 Following the adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating element, demands utmost cleanliness in connected inlet and outlet pipelines. Any foreign materials could inflict irreversible damage. Ensure compliance with system steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require modification. It is recommended
to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to protect the impeller.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for appropriate accessory installation on import and export pipelines. Ensure the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently, without burdening the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are poised to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a close 5-meter proximity to the compressor itself. For optimal safety and functionality, the wiring should be securely connected using a threading pipe that runs discreetly underground. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure a seamless connection of the wiring terminals inside the cabinet with the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust communication network for enhanced operational efficiency.
