Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base, a central component of our High-Speed Direct Drive Industrial Compressor with Oil-Film System, is meticulously integrated onto the foundation. Begin by placing a wedge-shaped shim beneath the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, reinforce the stability by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges are to be crafted and installed by the user to meet specific real-world demands. It is crucial that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished, ensuring even and consistent contact of the inclined plane.

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to assess the unit's alignment. The leveling specifications are as follows: the axial level must achieve a precise alignment of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must maintain 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve optimal coupling by centering it with care. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following crucial steps are adhered to:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane to confirm it is devoid of foreign objects, dirt, and any other attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Assemble ample stainless steel gaskets to uniformly distribute under the motor's feet. Gaskets must be pristine and perfectly flat; avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and its base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer themselves);
8) Prepare a robust bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is designated for affixing a dial indicator to the wheel hub's perimeter, placing the dial indicator probe precisely on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts so that the compressor and motor center lines are precisely aligned (or as per corresponding instructions), ensuring the outer circle's maximum deviation is a mere 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclusively fasten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Post motor idling assessment, reinstall the intermediate section of the coupling with precision.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are impeccably adjusted, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure unwavering stability.

3.3.5 The impeller, a dynamic high-speed rotating component, is susceptible to irreversible damage if solid or liquid substances infiltrate it. Therefore, maintaining the cleanliness and system's steam corrosion grade compliance of connected inlet and outlet pipelines is imperative. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should incorporate relevant pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be supported by an external bracket, ensuring its weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has thoroughly solidified, the compressor operation test can be conducted to verify its performance and reliability.
