MVR, known as mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-conserving technology designed to dramatically curtail the need for external energy resources. This innovative process ingeniously recycles the secondary steam energy it produces. The foundational concept lies in compressing the secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, utilizing a highly efficient steam compressor. This compression process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, consequently elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The enhanced steam is then reintroduced to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, spurring evaporation. This clever cycle ensures the effective recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, maximizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor encompasses a range of essential components, including the robust compressor body, precision coupling, efficient gearbox, sophisticated lubrication system, powerful motor, advanced electric instruments, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. This series is renowned for its compact design, engineered meticulously for ease of maintenance and operational convenience, ensuring reliability and longevity.
3.3.1 The compressor base is positioned entirely on the foundation with precision. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for level adjustments, ensuring a stable and balanced setup.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is leveled, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4~5 points for enhanced stability.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user to fit specific circumstances. They must have a finished contact surface for even pressure distribution.
The inclined planes should make full contact, and each wedge iron should not exceed a bearing capacity of 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ensure the unit is perfectly aligned. The axial level tolerance is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level tolerance is 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these specifications for optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Coupling Alignment. Before proceeding, adhere to the following critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with caution;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring it is free from debris and obstructions;
5) Motor bolt holes should have adequate clearance beyond bolt size, allowing for loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Ensure you have ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet. These gaskets must be pristine and uniformly flat. Avoid inserting thin, elongated gaskets between the motor and base for alignment purposes;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm, which customers should provide themselves;
8) Prepare a suitable bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the provided schematic;
9) Attach the motor hub mount bracket to host the dial indicator, positioning the probe at the compressor hub's exterior edge;
10) Adjust bolts around the motor's base to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle's deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft, and coupling end face alignment within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face for runout consistency.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post-successful motor idle test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's level and alignment are set, tighten the anchor bolts. After any operational test, re-loosen and then re-tighten these bolts for assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed component, is vulnerable to damage from any foreign solid or liquid. Ensure all compressor pipelines are pristine and adhere to the required steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliant pipeline must be corrected.Incorporate solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe for optimal protection.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes with corresponding accessories following the PI diagram. Ensure these pipelines are independently supported and do not exert any weight on the compressor structure itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are expertly installed and the concrete has fully set, it's time to commence the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that everything is in flawless working order, promising peak performance from your Integrally Geared Compressor with Guide Vane and Speed Regulation.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5 meters radius of the unit itself. Utilize underground threading pipes to connect the wiring securely from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the cabinet is seamlessly installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines of the remote DCS, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration.
