3.3.1 To achieve the pinnacle of performance with your Steam Compressor featuring a robust Overall Base and precision Guide Vane Adjustment from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, meticulously position the compressor base integrally onto a solid, secure foundation. Delicately place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, artfully used to fine-tune the unit to an immaculate level.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in a perfectly alternating pattern. Once your unit attains flawless leveling, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at an ideal 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges must be expertly crafted and installed by the user, customized to meet the specific needs of your setup, ensuring a smooth contact surface for even force distribution.
The contact surface must be impeccably finished to guarantee even contact across the inclined plane, a critical factor in your installation. The wedge iron's bearing capacity should remain within a safe threshold of not exceeding 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to carefully establish the unit's level. The rigorous leveling criteria demand that the axial level of the unit achieves a precision of 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal level meticulously set at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unrivaled accuracy.
3.3.3 Achieving perfect coupling alignment requires adherence to these pivotal steps:
1) Ensure the absolute safety of your operation by completely turning off the main power supply;
2) Gently remove the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with the utmost precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness meticulously to confirm it is spotless and free from any foreign materials;
5) Verify the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for bolt loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of premium, high-quality stainless steel gaskets to steadfastly support the motor's base. These gaskets must be perfectly flat and devoid of any attachments, avoiding long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Equip a robustly crafted bracket to support the dial indicator, following the illustration provided in the diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the dial indicator probe positioned on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) With deft precision, adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to perfectly align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the outer circle's maximum deviation does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and maintain a coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then conduct a critical review of the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout for optimal alignment.
12) Upon successful completion of motor idling tests, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing have been expertly adjusted, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts for secure stability. After any mechanical or trial operation, it is essential to loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure ongoing reliability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's role as a high-speed rotating component, prevent any solid or liquid intrusion at all costs, as such incidents would cause irrevocable damage to the compressor. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to the system's stringent steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines not meeting these standards must be subjected to necessary rectifications.It is highly recommended to implement solid-liquid separation equipment—such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet to guarantee system integrity.
3.3.6 Begin the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the specified pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. It's imperative to use a separate bracket to support the pipeline connected to the compressor, safeguarding the compressor body from any excessive weight and potential damage.
3.3.7 With the main fan and its related equipment meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation reaching full solidity, you're ready to embark on the thrilling phase of conducting a compressor operation test. This essential step guarantees that all components are functioning flawlessly, confirming the reliability of the entire setup.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter radius to maximize efficiency and accessibility. Employ a durable threading pipe to seamlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, discreetly routing it underground. Once the cabinet is firmly in place, proceed with precision to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and steadfast control link.
