3.3.1 To ensure the utmost stability and functionality, the compressor base is meticulously placed on a robust foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the positioning of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Secure these with spot welds at 4-5 strategic points for maximum stability.
These wedges should be custom-manufactured and installed by the user, taking into account the specific conditions of the site. The contact surface must be finished for even contact.
The inclined plane must support no more than a maximum load of 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level tool to ascertain perfect alignment. For optimal performance, the axial level of the unit should be set at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure precise coupling alignment by adhering to the following pre-alignment steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to maintain safety during installation.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to allow access for further adjustments.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate precise alignment.
4) Examine the motor installation plane for any obstructions, dirt, or foreign attachments to ensure an immaculate setup.
5) The motor bolt hole must be designed larger than the bolt size, allowing for effortless motor adjustment through bolt loosening.
6) Employ a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets that are perfectly flat and free of any attachments to secure the motor firmly in place.
7) Opt for a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer should prepare for precise measurement.
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to conveniently position the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center line accurately, aiming for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten all motor foot bolts and double-check the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for ideal performance.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test to ensure seamless operation.
3.3.4 Tighten the anchor bolts post-adjustment of unit "levelness" and alignment for steadfast operation, and retighten after trial runs to ensure durable stability.
3.3.5 Keep the impeller free of any solid or liquid as these can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure all connected pipelines are clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion specifications.To mitigate risks, consider integrating solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Ensure the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. Support the pipeline with separate brackets to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and auxiliary equipment are installed and concrete curing is complete, conduct a comprehensive compressor operation test to verify performance.
