MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-saving technology designed to significantly cut down external energy requirements. This is achieved by reusing the secondary steam energy generated during the process. The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this transformed steam is returned to the evaporator, where it contributes to heating the materials and promoting evaporation, thereby facilitating the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.

The Oil-film High-Speed Direct Drive Steam Compressor is an advanced type of turbine equipment powered by a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its standout feature is the impeller, which is directly mounted at the shaft extension end of the motor. This innovative design utilizes an oil film bearing to directly support the rotor, enabling the compressor to operate with a high-speed motor without the need for a speed increasing box or coupling. This results in a seamless and efficient direct drive system.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust and ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Alternate between two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed by spot welding the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and positioned by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. Ensure that the contact surfaces are precisely finished, guaranteeing a consistent and even inclined
plane contact. The load-bearing capability of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to meticulously balance the unit. The leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level must maintain a precision of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should adhere to a precision of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring impeccable alignment.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Prior to commencing the alignment process, ensure the subsequent key steps are strictly followed:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely shut off;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with caution;
4) Assess the flatness of the motor installation plane. It is crucial that it is free from any foreign substances, dirt, or attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt sizes, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Ensure adequate stainless steel gaskets are ready to support the motor's feet. The gaskets must be pristine and exceedingly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Equipped with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting a precision of 0.01mm, as arranged by the customer;
8) Prepare the appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator, as detailed in the diagram below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's periphery, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the motor's foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection (or follow specific instructions). The maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviations should remain between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Tighten the motor's foot bolts securely, then recheck the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling for accuracy.;
12) Following the motor's idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation or trial run, release the bolts and retighten to ensure durability.

3.3.5 The impeller, a vital high-speed component, must be safeguarded against any solid or liquid intrusion, which could cause dire damage to the compressor. Thus, it's paramount that all inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipeline failing to meet these criteria must be promptly corrected. The installation of solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe, is highly advisable.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all relevant pipeline accessories are installed according to the PI diagram. Avoid letting the pipeline's weight rest on the compressor body by supporting it with an independent bracket.
3.3.7 Upon completion of the installation of the main fan and its supportive equipment and after the concrete has fully set, the comprehensive compressor operation test can be initiated.
