3.3.1 To commence the installation, the compressor base should be mounted on the foundation with precision. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is level, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding them at four to five points. This ensures a robust and accurate installation.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user in accordance with site-specific conditions. The contact surfaces must be meticulously finished to guarantee even contact across the inclined plane.
Make sure the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieving perfect level alignment requires using a precision level. The unit's axial level tolerance is 0.05/1000mm, and its horizontal level tolerance is 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before you embark on alignment, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Disconnect the primary power supply; this is a critical safety step.
2) Detach the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Verify the motor's installation plane is pristine, devoid of any debris or foreign matter;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes are adequately sized to allow for bolt loosening and motor adjustment without hindrance;
6) Amass a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to properly cushion the motor's feet. They must be pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding the use of long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) For precision alignment, employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer should have prepared beforehand;
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as detailed in the diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerlines. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be no more than 0.05mm, and for the coupling end face, it should be 0.03~0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line;
11) Once aligned, firmly secure the motor foot bolts. Recheck the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for assured accuracy;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section, ensuring flawless operation.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts securely. Post mechanical operation or trial, re-loosen and re-tighten them for optimal integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high velocity, necessitating the prevention of solid or liquid ingress, which could catastrophically damage the compressor. It's crucial to maintain inlet and outlet pipelines in pristine condition, adhering to the steam corrosion grade standards of your system. Pipelines not meeting these standards demand immediate rectification.It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor's inlet straight pipe to ensure optimal protection and performance.
3.3.6 For compressor inlet and outlet pipe installation, adhere to PI diagram specifications, ensuring relevant pipeline accessories are correctly installed. Pipelines must be supported independently, preventing undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and all associated equipment is complete, and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to initiate the operational testing of the compressor. 3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor unit. Ensure seamless connectivity by using threading pipes to route wiring underground from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the control cabinet is in place, make sure to meticulously link the wiring terminals within to the remote DCS lines, guaranteeing robust communication and control.
