The DM series Single-stage Gear Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a robust compressor body, precision coupling, reliable gearbox, advanced lubrication system, powerful motor, sophisticated electric instrumentation, and an intelligent anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure that prioritizes ease of maintenance, ensuring long-term operational excellence and efficiency.
3.3.1 To ensure a seamless and sturdy setup, place the compressor base integrally upon a well-prepared foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims to meticulously adjust the unit level, ensuring optimal balance.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons, achieving precise leveling. Secure these irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 points, tailored to your unique requirements.
Crafted and installed by the user, these wedges should boast a finely finished contact surface for even distribution.
The incline must uniformly contact, bearing no more than 40Kg/cm in weight.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to attain impeccable flatness. The unit must meet rigorous leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a precise horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure exceptional accuracy with these leveling standards.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prioritize the following for ideal alignment:
1) Deactivate the main power supply, ensuring a secure working environment.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, granting unhindered access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, enabling smooth adjustments.
4) Assess the motor's installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris and contaminants.
5) Design motor bolt holes larger than the bolts for ease of adjustment and perfect alignment.
6) Utilize stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor's footing, ensuring a flat, attachment-free surface. Avoid long, thin gaskets for optimal precision.
7) Achieve remarkable alignment with a dial indicator or laser alignment meter of 0.01mm precision, sourced by the customer.
8) Equip yourself with a bracket to support the dial indicator as demonstrated below.
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to host a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe outwardly on the compressor wheel hub.
10) Fine-tune motor feet adjustment bolts to align with the compressor's center line, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. End face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, verifying both outer circle and end face runout at the coupling for steadfast operation.;
12) Post idling tests, reinstall the coupling intermediate section, ensuring seamless functionality.
3.3.4 After attaining ideal 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten anchor bolts to secure the casing. Following mechanical or trial operations, temporarily loosen, then re-tighten bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed marvel, protect it from solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure all connecting pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any discrepancies.Incorporate solid-liquid separation units, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Diligently install compressor inlet and outlet pipes, incorporating necessary pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Independently support pipelines with brackets to prevent undue strain on the compressor body, maximizing longevity and performance.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are expertly installed and the concrete base has been meticulously solidified, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This phase ensures that every component is functioning flawlessly, setting the stage for a seamless and efficient performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring, elegantly encased in threading pipe, must travel underground, ensuring a clean and unobtrusive installation. Once the control cabinet is securely in place, skillfully connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, achieving a harmonious integration.
