The heated steam is then channeled back to the evaporator, invigorating the materials and prompting further evaporation. This extraordinary cycle effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, marking a significant leap in sustainable energy utilization.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a paradigm of engineering excellence, encompassing a robust compressor body, dynamic coupling, precision gearbox, advanced lubrication system, powerful motor, state-of-the-art electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, it offers unparalleled ease of maintenance, making it a reliable and efficient choice for modern industrial applications.
3.3.1 For optimal installation, the compressor base should be securely and integrally placed on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to deftly adjust the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, expertly spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge needs to be
manufactured and precisely installed by the user, tailored to the actual circumstances. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished for even contact of the inclined
planes, with the bearing capacity of the wedge iron not exceeding a robust 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling using a precise level. The unit's leveling standards are as follows: the axial level must be an exacting 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should meet a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling is centered with precision. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure these critical requirements are met:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is perfectly flat and free from any foreign particles, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to allow for bolt loosening, facilitating motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for the motor feet, ensuring they are attachment-free and impeccably flat. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket as depicted in the diagram below to support the dial indicator;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, positioning a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, adhering to instructions. Ensure maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should be higher than compressor low-speed shaft center line), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review both outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a satisfactory motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen then re-tighten these bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands absolute protection from solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreparable compressor damage. Maintain cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring compliance with the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines falling short must be rectified. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for installing relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by separate brackets, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Upon the installation of the main fan and all its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has reached full solidification, you are ready to commence the compressor operation test. This significant milestone marks the beginning of performance verification, ensuring everything functions seamlessly and efficiently.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter range of the compressor itself, ensuring optimal control and quick access. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet is expertly secured through underground threading pipes. Once the cabinet is firmly in place, proceed to meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet with the lines extending to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a robust and reliable setup for uninterrupted operations.
