At its core, this technology ingeniously compresses secondary steam through a high-efficiency steam compressor, skillfully transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This pivotal process results in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, enabling its return to the evaporator. Here, it effectively heats materials to induce evaporation, thereby achieving a remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is expertly engineered and primarily comprises a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Characterized by its compact structure, it offers exceptional convenience in maintenance, making it a paragon of sophisticated engineering and user-friendly design.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be strategically and meticulously placed on the prepared foundation. To ensure a perfectly level installation, insert wedge-shaped shims under the base. These shims facilitate easy leveling of the entire unit.
Use alternating wedge-shaped irons to achieve precision leveling, and once the unit is perfectly aligned, secure the wedges through spot welding in four to five strategic points. This ensures unwavering stability.
The wedges must be custom-manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to their specific environment. The contact surface should be precisely finished, ensuring even contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of these wedges must not exceed 40Kg/cm², maintaining optimal performance and safety standards.

3.3.2 Leveling precision is paramount. Employ a high-quality level to verify the unit's exact alignment. The axial level must be within 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be no more than 0.10/1000mm.
This meticulous attention to leveling guarantees top-tier operational efficiency and longevity of the machinery.

3.3.3 Perfectly align the coupling with careful precision. Before commencing this process, confirm the following essential preparatory steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield to gain direct access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for unimpeded maneuverability;
4) Scrupulously inspect the motor installation surface, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing for easy adjustments by loosening the bolts to fine-tune motor alignment;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to securely cover the motor's foot. These gaskets should be flawless and flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be sourced by the customer;
8) Have a well-prepared bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;

9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the edge of the wheel hub. Securely place the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for optimal alignment;
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line as accurately as possible. The maximum allowable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line ideally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Ensure coupling end face deviation is maintained between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude the process by tightening the motor foot bolts, followed by a thorough review of the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for ensuring precision;;
12) Once confident in the alignment, reinstall the coupling intermediate section after successfully completing a motor idling test.
3.3.4 With the casing's levelness and alignment perfected, secure the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation or trial, loosen and re-tighten bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a sophisticated high-speed component, and its integrity is paramount. Any solid or liquid infiltrating the impeller can cause significant damage. It is imperative to ensure that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.
Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the meticulous installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The compressor-connected pipeline must be supported independently and not by the compressor body to prevent undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved complete solidity, it is time to embark on the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures that all installations are flawlessly operational, marking a pivotal moment in the preparation for sustainable performance.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal functioning, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a precise distance of 5 meters from the compressor itself. The wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly threaded through piping that runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, the final connections can be made by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thus completing a seamless integration for efficient control.
