This steam undergoes high-energy-efficiency compression within a steam compressor, effectively transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, the secondary steam experiences a rise in both pressure and temperature. This heated steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it plays a pivotal role in heating the materials and inducing further evaporation. This remarkable compressor comprises several integral parts, including the compressor body, which houses the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it features a coupling mechanism, a robust motor, and a suite of sophisticated electric instruments. 3.3.1 The compressor base is meticulously positioned on the foundation. To ensure precision, place wedge-shaped shims under the base for effortless unit leveling.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, carefully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finely finished for seamless contact of the inclined plane.
The wedge iron must not bear more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling requirements are precise: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling centering. Before commencing alignment, ensure you meet these essential prerequisites:
1) The main power supply must be turned off;
2) The coupling shield should be removed;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify that the motor installation plane is impeccably flat, free from debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing the bolt to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Secure an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor foot. These gaskets must be immaculate and precisely flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for motor-to-base adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting 0.01mm accuracy (customer-provided);
8) Have a bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Deploy the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for attaching a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with its probe placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer boundary;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle's maximum deviation is a fine 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line exceeds the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, then diligently review both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring smooth functionality.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten them for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must be shielded from any solid or liquid intrusion to prevent damage. Ensure the compressor-connected pipelines are pristine and meet steam corrosion grade requirements. Inadequate pipelines require rectification. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Equip the compressor with inlet and outlet pipes. Install import and export pipelines with essential pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The compressor's connected pipeline should be supported by a separate bracket, ensuring its weight is independent of the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, you may proceed with the compressor operation test. This phase is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal performance. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring should be installed through a threading pipe that runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it is essential to establish connections between the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control.
