At its core, the principle is straightforward yet brilliant: the evaporator's secondary steam undergoes compression through a highly efficient steam compressor. This process elegantly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This temperature elevation recycles the secondary steam back into the evaporator, where it vitalizes the material heating process and prompts further evaporation, thereby achieving an impressive recycling of the latent heat inherent in the vaporization of secondary steam.
The DML series, renowned for its low temperature rise steam compressor, is an engineering marvel predominantly constituted of a robust compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. Additionally, it features a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instrumentation. Every component is meticulously designed to ensure seamless operation and unparalleled performance.
3.3.1 Begin by elegantly positioning the robust compressor base integrally upon the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a flawless unit level.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving impeccable leveling of the unit. Proceed with precision spot welding at 4 to 5 essential points. These wedges should be
meticulously crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished, allowing for seamless contact of the inclined
plane. It's crucial that the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level with the utmost precision to ascertain unit alignment. The unit's axial level demands an exactitude of 0.05/1000mm, while maintaining a rigorous horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling centering. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure these pivotal prerequisites are met:
1) Disengage the main power supply with caution;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Diligently check the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from any debris or attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should possess a larger dimension than the bolt size, allowing flexibility to loosen the bolt for motor adjustment;
6) Amass sufficient stainless steel gaskets to graciously cover the motor's foot. These gaskets should be clear of any attachments and exemplify flawless flatness. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare an adept bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adeptly adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines with remarkable precision (as per instructions), maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle (the motor shaft center line should be elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft center line), with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idle test.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment within the casing, fasten the anchor bolts. After any mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.5 As a paramount, high-speed rotating component, the impeller must remain free of all intrusions, as any solid or liquid presence can inflict irreversible damage. It's imperative to maintain the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring they meet the stringent steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate prompt rectification. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment (like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Facilitate the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with appropriate pipeline accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported independently by a separate bracket, with its weight entirely independent of the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with all its supporting equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved complete solidity, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This marks a crucial step in ensuring the seamless functionality and performance of the system.
3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the compressor's electric control cabinet needs to be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure a neat and secure connection, the wiring should be routed through threading pipes that extend underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly stationed, connect its wiring terminals with the remote DCS lines to establish an integrated and responsive control system.
