Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To commence, the compressor base should be carefully positioned on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly level, securely spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
crafted and positioned by the user, tailored to the specific site conditions. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for even engagement of inclined
planes, with the wedge iron's load-bearing capacity not exceeding a robust 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilizing a level is essential to ascertain perfect horizontality. The stringent leveling prerequisites for the unit are: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a
horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieving precise coupling centering is crucial. Prior to alignment, please ensure the following preparatory steps are executed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment to facilitate alignment;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, grime, and other obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts to allow for motor adjustments;
6) Secure ample stainless steel gaskets to fit beneath the motor feet, ensuring they are free from debris and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm (customer-supplied);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket as depicted in the accompanying illustration to support the dial indicator;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor hub's outer perimeter;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines, keeping the deviation of the outer circle within a precise 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center is marginally raised compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain coupling end face deviation between 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate segment following a successful motor idle test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After initial mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.

3.3.5 Given the high-speed nature of the impeller, any solid or liquid ingress can cause irrevocable damage to the compressor. To prevent this, ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must be rectified promptly. It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all associated pipeline accessories are mounted according to the PI diagram specifications. The pipelines connected to the compressor should be supported independently by another bracket to prevent exerting their weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete base has achieved full solidity, the stage is set for the exhilarating compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is perfectly aligned for optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The intricate wiring that connects the compressor to the control cabinet is elegantly laid underground through robust threading pipes. After positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure the seamless connection of wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring an integrated and efficient control environment.
