The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, meticulously crafted to deliver optimal performance. It primarily comprises a robust compressor body, which includes essential components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. In addition, the system is equipped with a precision-engineered coupling, a high-performance motor, and state-of-the-art electric instruments. This intricate assembly ensures that the DML series stands out as a reliable and efficient solution for diverse industrial applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base, an integral masterpiece of engineering, should be gracefully positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shim under the base to achieve the perfect unit level.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring a flawless levelling of the unit. Secure these wedge-shaped irons with precision, spot welding them at 4~5 points for ultimate stability. Each wedge shall be
custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual situation. The contact surface must be impeccably finished, ensuring even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Achieve unparalleled precision with a level, adhering to these meticulous leveling requirements: the axial level of the unit is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm.
Assure the horizontal level of perfection, ensuring operational excellence.
3.3.3 Centering of the coupling is crucial. Before initiating alignment, ensure these vital steps are followed:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety and accuracy;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Scrutinize the motor's installation plane for any debris, dirt, or attachments to guarantee a smooth surface;
5) The motor bolt hole should graciously accommodate larger bolts, allowing them to be loosened for precise motor adjustments;
6) Assemble an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets for the motor's footing. These gaskets must be immaculate and flat. Kindly avoid using long and thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustment.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm, prepared by the customer;
8) Prepare a reliable bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor center line align harmoniously (or as per corresponding instructions). Maximize precision with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line exceeds the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once the motor foot bolts are tightened to perfection, reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to ensure flawless alignment.;
12) Following the motor's idling test, re-install the coupling intermediate section seamlessly.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and casing alignment, diligently secure the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten them for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands pristine operational conditions. Any solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines that fall short must be promptly rectified. It is recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, strategically placed before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Execute the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Import and export pipelines must be equipped with designated pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. The pipeline at the compressor must be independently supported, with its weight not imposed on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidification, you are ready to proceed with the highly anticipated compressor operation test, ensuring every aspect is primed for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Employ underground threading pipes to meticulously connect the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, ensuring a seamless integration. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, establish a robust connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
