This allows for seamless direct drive operation by the high-speed motor, eliminating the need for traditional speed-increasing boxes and couplings. 3.3.1 Begin by carefully positioning the compressor base securely on the foundation. To facilitate precise leveling, place a series of wedge-shaped shims underneath the base. These shims are instrumental in achieving the perfect unit level.
Strategically alternate the arrangement of these wedge-shaped irons, ensuring a secure fit. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, execute spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at no fewer than 4 to 5 points.
The onus is on the user to manufacture and install the wedges, tailoring them to the specific installation conditions. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for uniform contact on the inclined plane.
These wedges should not bear a load exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to ascertain the unit's exact level. The unit's axial level must adhere to a strict tolerance of 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these specifications are met for flawless performance.
3.3.3 Achieve optimal coupling alignment by following these meticulous steps:
1) Completely disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to gain full access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign materials, debris, or attached dirt, ensuring impeccable flatness;
5) The bolt holes on the motor should be larger than the bolts themselves, allowing necessary movement for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an abundance of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's feet, ensuring they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, a crucial tool the customer should provide;
8) Equip yourself with the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated;
9) Establish a mounting bracket on the motor wheel hub to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge. Position the dial indicator probe precisely along the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Through careful adjustment of the bolts encircling the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerline correctly. The maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, and the motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review both the outer circle and the end face runout of the coupling to ensure optimum performance.;
12) Conduct a motor idling test, and upon successful completion, reinstall the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation or trial run, it's crucial to loosen and then retighten these bolts to maintain stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, it's imperative to prevent any solids or liquids from entering, as they can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the required steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified promptly. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring no undue weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are firmly in place and the concrete has fully set, you're ready to begin the compressor operation test, ensuring every component is in peak working condition.
