MVR, which stands for mechanical vapor recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly reduce the requirement for external energy sources. This is achieved by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam energy it generates. The fundamental principle hinges on the use of a high energy efficiency steam compressor, which compresses the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This process efficiently transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature subsequently cycles the secondary steam back to the evaporator, where it heats materials and induces evaporation, thus enabling the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an engineering marvel, comprising key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring not only a space-saving solution but also facilitating ease of maintenance.
3.3.1 With precision and care, position the compressor's base integrally upon the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims placed beneath to impeccably adjust the unit's level.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons for optimal stability. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, spot weld the irons at 4-5 points to secure them firmly in place.
The manufacturing and installation of the wedges are entrusted to the user, tailored to the actual situation. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for even contact on inclined planes.
Note: The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve impeccable precision. The leveling requirements are as follows: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures the ultimate steadiness and reliability of your unit.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment by meticulously centering the coupling. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure the following preparatory steps are completed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section gently;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring no debris or obstructions are present;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, facilitating motor adjustments with ease when bolts are loosened;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor foot—these must be perfectly flat and free of any attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an astounding accuracy of 0.01mm, as prepared by the customer;
8) Prepare a precision bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is ingeniously designed for mounting a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be a mere 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Review and confirm the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for ultimate precision;;
12) Upon successful completion of the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with confidence.
3.3.4 After achieving impeccable 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfast durability.
3.3.5 Remember, the impeller is a high-speed marvel. Any solid or liquid infiltrating the impeller's domain spells irreversible damage for the compressor. Ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculately clean and fit for the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. If pipelines do not align with these criteria, immediate rectification is imperative.We suggest augmenting your system with solid-liquid separation equipment—like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—strategically placed before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Elegantly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Equip import and export pipelines with the necessary accessories, adhering to the PI diagram's directives. Any pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no additional weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you can embark on the operation test of the compressor. This meticulous process ensures a seamless and efficient startup sequence, verifying the integrity and performance of the unit.
3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the cabinet must be executed using threading pipes, which are thoughtfully embedded underground to ensure durability and safety. After situating the control cabinet, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, achieving a flawless network of control and monitoring.
