The manufacturing and installation of these wedges should be tailored to the specific conditions of your environment. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for flawless contact of the inclined plane, providing robust support.
Remember, the wedge iron should withstand a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2, ensuring safety and durability.)
3.3.2 It is imperative to achieve precise leveling. Utilize a level to confirm the unit’s axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm, for impeccable operational efficiency.
These standards are the foundation for maximized performance and reliability.

3.3.3 Coupling alignment is crucial. Before embarking on alignment, adhere to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield; this will pave the way for unhindered access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section, a pivotal step in the alignment process.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for flatness. It is vital that no foreign objects, dirt, or attachments mar this surface, ensuring a pristine setup.
5) The motor bolt holes should provide ample space beyond the bolt size, facilitating bolt adjustments for perfect alignment.
6) Have a stock of stainless steel gaskets ready. Use them to evenly cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are clean and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise the stability.
7) To achieve ultra-precise alignment, employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy setting of 0.01mm. This precision tool ensures flawless results.
8) Prepare the bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.

3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, protect it from detrimental solid or liquid intrusions. Ensure inlet and outlet pipes meet the system's stringent steam corrosion grade requirements. Any deviation requires immediate rectification. Elevate protection with solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet.
This proactive measure safeguards the compressor against potential damage and enhances the longevity of its performance.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Align these with the relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. The weight of connected pipelines should be independently supported, sparing the compressor body from undue stress, thus ensuring seamless operation and longevity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its integral ancillary equipment, is meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidification, you can seamlessly proceed with the much-anticipated operation test of the compressor. This crucial step ensures reliability and efficiency, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to this control cabinet is expertly connected using a threading pipe, which should be meticulously routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, the wiring terminals within should be diligently connected to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and communication for smooth operational flow.
