The core principle of MVR involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, the temperature-increased steam is redirected back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials and facilitates evaporation. This ingenious cycle allows for the effective recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, optimizing energy use and promoting sustainability.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly securing the compressor base onto the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the level of the unit.
Ingeniously alternate two wedge-shaped irons, achieving perfect leveling. Securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to ensure stability.
The user should custom-manufacture and install the wedges to suit their specific setup. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for smooth and even contact of the inclined plane.
The wedge iron boasts a maximum bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm², ensuring robust support.

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the exact levelness of the unit. The unit's axial level should be maintained at an accuracy of 0.05/1000mm,
while the horizontal level should achieve precision within 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Coupling alignment is pivotal. Prior to embarking on alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is fully switched off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Gently remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Assess the motor installation plane's flatness rigorously, ensuring it's immaculate and free from debris;
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size for flexibility, allowing bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Sufficient stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to secure the motor foot. These gaskets must be pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding long or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (self-supplied by the customer);
8) Have ready a bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for setting a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, allowing precise probe placement on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge.
10) Adjust the surrounding adjustment bolts on the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerline. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline slightly elevated compared to the compressor’s low-speed shaft centerline.

11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout for precision.;
12) Securely reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon ensuring ideal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for lasting stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a crucial high-speed rotating component. Any intrusion of solid or liquid into the impeller can inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards.
It's highly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should be fitted with appropriate pipeline accessories, conforming to the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, preventing undue weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan and its accompanying ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has reached full solidification, a comprehensive test run of the compressor operation can be initiated. This phase marks the transition from assembly to performance testing, ensuring every component operates seamlessly in unison.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet associated with the compressor must be installed within a 5-meter radius of the unit itself. The wiring should be meticulously connected using a threading pipe, routed underground to maintain safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, proceed to link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a robust and efficient electrical integration.
