The underlying principle of this process involves the secondary steam created by the evaporator being compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This sophisticated compressor ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy. The result is an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Elevated in this manner, the secondary steam is channeled back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials, driving further evaporation. This process ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, embodying a seamless cycle of energy efficiency.
The oil-film high-speed direct drive steam compressor represents a groundbreaking turbine technology boasting the use of a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. At its core, the innovative design features an impeller directly mounted onto the shaft extension of the motor. This cutting-edge configuration ensures the rotor is supported directly by an oil film bearing, achieving seamless direct drive by the high-speed motor, all without the need for a speed increasing box or coupling. The result is a streamlined and highly efficient operation that underscores top-tier engineering prowess.
3.3.1 Gracefully set the compressor base firmly on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a perfectly balanced unit level.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons, and after leveling the unit with precision, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual requirements. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for even contact across inclined
planes. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should remain within a stringent limit of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain impeccable leveling. The exacting requirements for unit leveling are: axial level at a precise 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
level at a stringent 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Perform flawless coupling centering. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following meticulous prerequisites are met:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it remains free from impurities, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole must be larger than the bolt itself, allowing flexibility to easily loosen and adjust the motor;
6) Have a sufficient stock of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot. Ensure these gaskets are free from any attachments and are perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as expertly illustrated in the figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for securing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, while placing a dial indicator probe delicately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) With precision, adjust the bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines almost perfectly (or as per corresponding instructions), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is a mere 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation at a meticulous 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idle test.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustment of the casing's "levelness" and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical run (or trial operation), slightly loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller functions as a high-speed rotating marvel, which must be protected from any solid or liquid intrusion, as this could inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. It is paramount to ensure the cleanliness and compliance of the inlet and outlet pipelines with the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines falling short of these standards require immediate rectification. It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe to avert potential issues.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are complemented with pertinent pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be supported independently by another bracket, without imposing its weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supplementary apparatus have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, you are ready to embark on the exhilarating compressor operation test. This pivotal phase will ensure optimal functionality and performance of the equipment.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficient operation, position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring journey from the compressor to the cabinet should be elegantly encapsulated within threading pipes that traverse underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly poised in its designated spot, ensure a flawless connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating a harmonious operational environment.
