At its core, this technology operates on a fundamental principle: the secondary steam generated by the evaporator undergoes compression through a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature and pressure allow the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and triggering evaporation. This ingenious cycle achieves the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, exemplifying sustainable efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, featuring a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a remarkably compact structure, making it both space-efficient and easy to maintain. This innovative configuration ensures optimal performance while facilitating convenient upkeep, making it an ideal choice for seamless integration and operation.
3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly positioning the compressor base on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Achieve a precise level of the unit, then expertly spot weld the wedge irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge should be
custom-crafted and finely installed by the user, adhering to the specific situational requirements. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for optimal evenness of the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a high-precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The leveling standards are stringent: maintain an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled precision.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous precision. Prior to commencing alignment, fulfill these essential prerequisites:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect the flatness of the motor installation plane meticulously, ensuring an absence of any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt size, allowing adjustments by loosening the bolt;
6) Ample stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to cover the motor foot. Ensure gaskets are free from any attachments and sufficiently flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer for utmost precision;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount the dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By delicately adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor center lines align almost perfectly. The maximum permissible deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Maintain a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess and confirm the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the unit's levelness and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, re-loosen and subsequently retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel, vulnerable to catastrophic damage by any solid or liquid intrusion. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculately clean, meeting the steam corrosion standards of the system. Pipelines falling short require immediate rectification. Consider installingsolid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported independently by an external bracket, ensuring its weight is never burdened by the compressor body.
3.3.7 With the main fan and its ancillary equipment securely installed and the concrete foundation fully solidified, you are now ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that all components function harmoniously, setting the stage for optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the main unit. To ensure robust connectivity, use threading pipes to channel the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, with the pathway neatly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a seamless network for superior operational control.
