MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-saving technology that significantly reduces external energy requirements. By effectively reutilizing the energy from secondary steam that it generates, MVR harnesses high-efficiency steam compressors to transform electrical energy into thermal energy. The process involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator with these advanced compressors, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature. This elevated temperature and pressure allow the secondary steam to be redirected back to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and generates further evaporation. This innovative cycle enables the recycling of the secondary steam's latent heat of vaporization, optimizing energy use and achieving sustainability.
The DM series single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising several integral components, such as the robust compressor body, reliable coupling, efficient gearbox, and sophisticated lubrication system. It also includes a powerful motor and a highly responsive electric instrument and anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, this compressor ensures ease of maintenance while delivering superior performance and reliability in various applications.
3.3.1 Start by securely placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately and, after achieving perfect leveling, spot weld each wedge in 4 to 5 points, ensuring stability.
The wedge must be custom-made and installed by the user according to specific requirements. Ensure a smooth contact surface for even distribution of pressure.
Note: The load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilizing a level is essential to ascertain the true level. The unit's leveling standards demand an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm.
Equally, ensure the unit's horizontal level maintains a precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, ensure these prerequisites are met before starting the process:
1) Turn off the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough alignment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris to ensure a smooth surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolts in size to allow adjustments.
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet, ensuring they are flat and free from impurities. Avoid using long, thin gaskets.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with at least 0.01mm precision for accurate alignment.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below for precise measurement.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for the dial indicator, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the centers of the motor and compressor. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, while the coupling end face should align within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts securely, then double-check the runout of the outer circle and end face of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are adjusted, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation or trial, loosen and re-tighten the bolts for final adjustments.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component; thus, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid from entering, as this could cause irreversible damage. Ensure cleanliness and compliance with steam corrosion standards for all related pipelines.Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to safeguard performance.
3.3.6 To install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram for including all necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure that the pipelines are supported by independent brackets, not by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, it's time to proceed with the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything functions seamlessly and effectively.
3.3.8 It's vital to position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a strategic distance of 5 meters from the compressor itself. For optimal safety and efficiency, the wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly threaded through pipes that are securely placed underground. Following the installation of the electric control cabinet, ensure that the wiring terminals within it are flawlessly connected to the lines at the remote DCS. This precision guarantees smooth and reliable operations.
