3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base directly onto your foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to elegantly fine-tune the unit level.
Place alternating wedge-shaped irons beneath, ensuring precise alignment. Secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points, achieving impeccable stability. These custom wedges should be
crafted by the user, tailored to your specific needs. Their contact surface must be finished to perfection, ensuring seamless contact of the inclined surfaces.
The wedge iron's impressive bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve flawless horizontal alignment. The unit's leveling criteria stand at a meticulous axial level of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level requirement demands an exacting 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Before embarking on this critical task, ensure the following preparatory steps are diligently followed:
1) Disengage the main power supply, ensuring utmost safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, revealing the inner workings;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, preparing for refinement;
4) Rigorously inspect the motor installation plane's flatness to eliminate any foreign objects, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt hole is capacious enough for bolt adjustment, allowing seamless motor calibration;
6) Gather an ample supply of flawless stainless steel gaskets, tailored to cover the motor's foot. Avoid using narrow, elongated gaskets that could disrupt the motor-base harmony;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, for unparalleled precision (customer-provided);
8) Secure the dial indicator's supporting bracket as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub's mounting bracket to precisely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, extending its probe to the compressor wheel hub's outer boundary;
10) By meticulously adjusting motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center line as one, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line remains slightly superior to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation remains within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, conducting a thorough review of outer circle runout and end face runout for ultimate calibration.12) Conclusively reinstall the coupling intermediate section post motor idle testing.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, relax the bolts, and re-tighten, ensuring enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands the utmost protection. Prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could irrevocably harm the compressor. Maintain pristine inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Should any pipelines fall short, promptly rectify them. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with relevant accessories, as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be elegantly supported by an external bracket, rather than relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supplementary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has reached its full solidity, you are ready to proceed with testing the operation of the compressor. This stage marks a pivotal point in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor to ensure seamless integration. Wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet must be carefully installed via threading pipes that are securely routed underground. Once the control cabinet is properly situated, ensure a robust connection by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS). This setup guarantees efficient and controlled operation of the entire system.
