Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit to a perfect level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is precisely leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges require
custom manufacturing and installation by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finished meticulously to guarantee an even contact on the inclined
planes. Remember, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve an exact leveling. The unit's leveling standards are as follows: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to initiating alignment, verify the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Examine the motor installation plane's flatness rigorously to confirm it is free from any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow easy loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must be impeccably flat and devoid of any attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which must be provided by the customer;
8) Have ready the necessary bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub’s edge, placing the probe precisely on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By refining the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the motor and compressor center lines accurately. The maximum deviation of the outer circle must be no more than 0.05mm, with the motor's shaft center slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center. The coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) In conclusion, tighten the bolts on the motor feet securely and reassess the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are firmly tightened. Post mechanical operation or trial operation, it is essential to loosen and then re-tighten the bolts.

3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed, critical rotating component. Any intrusion of solid or liquid matter will inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. It is imperative to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet these strict conditions must be rectified. Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all import and export pipelines are equipped with the appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported independently by an additional bracket, as the compressor body should not bear the pipeline's weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with all its ancillary equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete base is thoroughly solidified, you are ready to embark on the next crucial phase: the compressor operation test. This test is pivotal to ensuring the seamless functionality and efficiency of the entire system.
3.3.8 For optimal positioning, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure a tidy and secure installation, the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet must be connected via threading pipes that are safely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, it's essential to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS. This will guarantee a reliable and efficient communication pathway in your advanced system setup.
