The compressor's robust architecture consists of several key components: the compressor body, precision coupling, state-of-the-art gearbox, efficient lubrication system, high-performance motor, advanced electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Securely position the compressor base onto the foundation, incorporating wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling adjustments. Use alternating wedge-shaped irons to ensure stability.
Position the wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving optimal leveling, then apply spot welds at 4 to 5 points to secure the irons, ensuring stability.
The user must manufacture and install the wedges according to situational requirements, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for even contact on inclined planes.
The load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm^2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. Leveling criteria: Axial level of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These specifications ensure impeccable alignment for optimal operation.
3.3.3 Centralize the coupling. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following essentials are fulfilled:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, and foreign objects.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size for easy loosening and motor adjustments.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready for motor footing, ensuring they are flat and free from any contaminants. Avoid using thin, extended gaskets between the motor and its base.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter of 0.01mm accuracy, procured by the customer.
8) Prepare the support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Attach the dial indicator to the motor wheel hub using a mounting bracket, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By adjusting bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling..
12) Following the motor's idle test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical or trial operations, loosen, then retighten these bolts to ensure integrity.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, ensure no solid or liquid infiltrates it to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Guarantee the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines.It is recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to protect the system.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, incorporating relevant pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure that pipelines are supported by independent brackets, with no weight bearing on the compressor body, safeguarding structural integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidity, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is in perfect working order, setting the stage for a seamless experience.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For seamless connectivity, the wiring between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be elegantly threaded through underground pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the dedicated lines at your remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control.
