3.3.1 Begin by anchoring the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Elegantly position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a perfectly balanced unit. These shims are essential for aligning the unit seamlessly.
Alternate the wedge-shaped irons meticulously, ensuring precision leveling of the unit. Securely spot weld each iron at 4 to 5 points, embedding stability into the structure.
The fabrication and installation of the wedges are entrusted to the user's discretion, considering the unique physical conditions of your site. Ensure the contact surfaces are expertly finished for flawless engagement.
The inclined contact plane must bear a capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Master the art of leveling by employing a high-precision level. The unit's alignment demands nothing less than excellence:
Ensure the axial level maintains a strict tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level adheres to 0.10/1000mm for pristine performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by meeting these criteria:
1) Disengage the main power source for complete safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough inspection.
4) Scrupulously check the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring a spotless surface devoid of debris.
5) The motor bolt hole should be slightly larger than the bolt itself. This design allows for easy loosening and precise motor adjustment.
6) Ensure you have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor feet. These gaskets must be pristine and perfectly flat for seamless fitting. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that compromise stability.
7) Deploy a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer prepares.
8) Securely mount the dial indicator on a specially designed bracket, illustrated below, for optimal stability.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge, ensuring unparalleled alignment accuracy.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to skillfully align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum permissible deviation of the outer circle stands at an impeccable 0.05mm.
11) Fasten the motor foot bolts securely and double-check the flawless runout of both the outer circle and end face of the coupling.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and adjustment of the casing, anchor bolts must be fastened. After a preliminary mechanical or trial run, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, demands a pristine environment. Any foreign solid or liquid may inflict irreversible damage. Ensure cleanliness and appropriate steam corrosion resistance of all connected pipelines. Non-compliant systems must undergo rectification, with the addition of sophisticated solid-liquid separation equipment where necessary to safeguard the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Perfect the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipelines by adhering to the PI diagram specifications. It is imperative that these pipes are independently supported by additional brackets, relieving the compressor body from undue weight.
3.3.7 With the main fan and auxiliary equipment properly installed and concrete fully cured, proceed confidently to the compressor operation test. This landmark step ensures your system is poised for peak performance.
