This temperature increase allows the steam to be redirected back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials and initiates evaporation. The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, integrating essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This sophisticated equipment boasts a compact structure, making it extraordinarily convenient for maintenance and upkeep. It epitomizes the blend of innovative design and functionality, ensuring seamless performance in various industrial applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be elegantly placed as one unit onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfectly level the unit, ensuring stability and precision.
Carefully alternately place two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is beautifully leveled, securely spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The wedge must be custom-crafted by the user to suit the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are superbly finished for uniform adherence, providing flawless support for the inclined plane.
The load-bearing prowess of the wedge iron should not surpass the robust threshold of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to achieve perfect balance. Adhere to exacting leveling standards: the axial precision should measure 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands a precise 0.10/1000mm.
These measurements ensure exceptional precision and reliability.
3.3.3 Masterfully center the coupling. Prior to alignment, rigorously confirm these critical prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power source to ensure safety;
2) Diligently remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediary segment of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for immaculate flatness ensuring it is free from debris, grime, and other obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed bolt dimensions, permitting easy bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel shims to impeccably cover the motor's feet — avoid using long, slender shims for fine-tuning between motor and base;
7) Utilize either a high-precision dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter boasting an impressive 0.01mm accuracy (procured by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Install the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet with finesse, aligning the compressor and motor centerlines to near perfection (or as per specific guidelines). Maintain a minimal deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft centerline is subtly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline; the coupling end face should measure between 0.03-0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout for maximum precision.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, release and retighten these bolts to ensure optimal security.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller operates at high speeds, any incursion of solids or liquids could inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Therefore, it is crucial to maintain pristine inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the stringent steam corrosion standards of the system. Non-compliant pipelines demand immediate rectification. It is highly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor's inlet.This ensures seamless operation and preserves the integrity of your compressor system.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring all necessary pipeline accessories are affixed in accordance with the PI diagram. The pipeline leading to the compressor should be supported by an independent bracket, avoiding any undue weight on the compressor body itself, thereby safeguarding structural integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete is fully solidified, you're ready to embark on the thrilling compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures that all components work harmoniously, paving the way for optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5m radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring is elegantly routed through a threading pipe, which should be discreetly installed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is expertly placed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a seamless integration for flawless operations.
