3.3.1 Begin by strategically positioning the compressor base integrally upon the prepared foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure a perfectly leveled unit.
Position two of these meticulously crafted wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit achieves balance, proceed to spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges must be
crafted and mounted by the user, tailored to the specific situation. Ensure a flawlessly finished contact surface, guaranteeing even contact of the inclined
plane with a bearing capacity that must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precise leveling. The requirements for the unit's leveling are exacting: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal
level of the unit set at 0.10/1000mm to ensure precision.
3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is perfectly centered is paramount. Prior to alignment, confirm the following:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any impurities, dirt, or attachments that could affect performance;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of high-quality stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be impeccably clean and flat, avoiding long and thin designs that could compromise the motor’s stability;
7) Utilize a precise dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which customers must provide themselves;
8) Prepare the bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator effectively;
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines accurately. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then review to ensure the outer circle runout and end face runout remain within specifications;;
12) Conclude the process by installing the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial operation, repeat the process by loosening and retightening the bolts.
3.3.5 As the impeller operates at high speeds, it's critical to prevent any solid or liquid from entering, as this can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines not meeting this standard must be rectified.It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, strategically before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Support pipelines with an independent bracket, avoiding imposing their weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the majestic main fan and its crucial ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the robust concrete has fully solidified, it's time to usher in the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal performance and seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be executed with precision, using threaded piping that runs discreetly underground. Once the electric control cabinet is gracefully positioned, it's essential to carefully connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless and coordinated operation.
