This is achieved through the innovative reuse of the secondary steam energy it itself generates. The fundamental principle behind this marvel involves the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is ingeniously compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The transformed steam is then channeled back to the evaporator, where it serves to heat the materials, thereby generating evaporation. This intelligent cycle facilitates the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization in the secondary steam, showcasing an impressive feat of sustainable energy utilization.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is an engineering masterpiece, comprising an array of essential components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. With its compact design, it not only enhances operational efficiency but also ensures ease and convenience in maintenance. This cutting-edge compressor is crafted to meet the highest standards, promising reliability and optimal performance.
3.3.1 Commence with the seamless integration of the compressor base onto its foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precision leveling.
Strategically alternate the placement of wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is impeccably levelled, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 key points for optimal stability. These wedges should be
meticulously crafted and installed by the user, tailored to suit the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for uniform contact of the inclined
plane. Note: The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a high-precision level to achieve impeccable balance. The stringent leveling criteria are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a seamless horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm to ensure superior performance and reliability.
3.3.3 Perfect the coupling alignment. Prior to initiating the alignment process, ensure adherence to these critical prerequisites:
1) The main power supply must be fully turned off;
2) The coupling shield should be carefully removed;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Inspect the motor installation surface for any foreign objects, ensuring a pristine and obstruction-free plane;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts for seamless adjustments;
6) Acquire sufficient flat stainless steel gaskets for the motor’s base. Ensure these gaskets are flawless and free from debris.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying schematic;
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the motor and compressor center lines. The permissible maximum deviation is 0.05mm, ensuring that the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face variances within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once alignment is achieved, securely fasten the motor foot bolts and rigorously review the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idle testing.
3.3.4 After achieving the perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component. Any intrusion of solids or liquids can inflict irreversible damage. Thus, ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines not meeting these criteria must be amended.It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to the meticulous installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipelines. Ensure these pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. They should also be supported independently to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment is expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it's then time to embark on the compressor's operational testing stage. This is where the magic happens and the efficiency of our systems is showcased.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet is achieved through an underground threading pipe, ensuring seamless and secure communication. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, it's essential to link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, completing a robust setup for maximum control and monitoring efficiency.
