MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a breakthrough in energy-saving technology. By ingeniously harnessing and reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces, MVR significantly diminishes the need for external energy sources. At its core, this technology operates by compressing secondary steam generated by the evaporator through a high energy efficiency steam compressor. This process stunningly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the steam. The resulting heated steam is then channeled back into the evaporator, where it warms the materials and induces further evaporation. Through this innovative cycle, the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam is continuously recycled, delivering remarkable energy efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is an engineering marvel, comprising a meticulously designed compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This extraordinary piece of equipment boasts a compact structure that is not only space-efficient but also engineered for easy maintenance. 3.3.1 The compressor base should be carefully positioned on the foundation, with wedge-shaped shims strategically placed underneath. These shims are instrumental for adjusting the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons to ensure perfect leveling. Once achieved, secure the wedges with spot welding at 4 to 5 points, providing reliable stability.
Users must manufacture and install the wedges according to specific on-site conditions, ensuring that the contact surface is impeccably finished for even contact.
It is crucial to maintain a bearing capacity of the wedge iron that does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve exact leveling. The unit requires an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These specifications ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
3.3.3 The coupling process demands exact centering. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the primary power source entirely;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section meticulously;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness to confirm the absence of debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts to allow precise adjustments by loosening;
6) Stock sufficient stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage—these must be flat with no attachments. Avoid long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter (provided by the customer) with an accuracy of 0.01mm.
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as demonstrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator along the wheel hub's edge, allowing the probe to contact the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Achieve alignment by adjusting bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, noting the motor shaft line should slightly surpass the compressor low-speed shaft line; coupling end face should range between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and thoroughly revisiting the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for any discrepancies.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following successful motor idling tests, confirming proper function.
3.3.4 Post 'levelness' and alignment adjustments of the casing, ensure all anchor bolts are securely tightened. After a mechanical or trial operation, revisit and retighten the bolts for added assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating entity, must remain free of solids or liquids to avoid irreversible damage. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion standards of the system. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe, ensuring optimal operation.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure appropriate pipeline accessories are installed per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor should be independently supported by an auxiliary bracket, never relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the sophisticated main fan and its supportive ancillary equipment are securely installed and the concrete base is entirely solidified, you are poised to initiate the compressor operation test. This milestone ensures readiness and efficiency for seamless operational performance.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure that the connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously facilitated by threading pipe, discreetly routed underground for protection and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, the next crucial step involves connecting the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a seamless flow of information and control.
