Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is to be placed securely on the foundation, with wedge-shaped shims positioned beneath to achieve perfect leveling.
Use alternating placements of two wedge-shaped irons for optimal leveling, and then spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points for stability. These wedges should be
custom-fabricated and installed by the user to suit specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is smooth and even for maximum support and stability.
The inclined plane should contact evenly, and the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to establish the unit's level. Ensure the axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and maintain a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for
optimal performance.

3.3.3 Properly center the coupling by adhering to these essential pre-alignment steps:
1) Ensure deactivation of the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section with caution;
4) Check the motor installation plane for any debris or contaminants to ensure a clean surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts to facilitate adjustment;
6) Prepare sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor’s foot, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision to achieve exact alignment (to be provided by the user);
8) Prepare the necessary supporting bracket for the dial indicator as detailed in the figure below;

9) Use a mounting bracket on the motor wheel hub to position the dial indicator probe accurately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust bolts around motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor center line, ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts and verify the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for precision;;
12) Install the coupling's intermediate section after conducting a thorough motor idling test to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or a trial run, it's advisable to loosen and then re-tighten these bolts for added security.
3.3.5 The high-speed impeller is vulnerable to damage from solids or liquids entering it. Ensure the connecting pipelines are pristine and compliant with steam corrosion standards to prevent irreversible damage. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be appropriately upgraded. It is strongly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for exact placement of pipeline accessories. Ensure that the compressor is not bearing the weight of these pipelines by using a separate support bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been seamlessly installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, the moment has arrived to initiate the compressor operation test. This step marks a pivotal point in ensuring the optimal performance of your equipment.
3.3.8 For seamless operations, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure that the wiring, expertly encased in threading pipe, is laid underground, connecting the compressor to its control cabinet. Once the cabinet is perfectly positioned, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a robust and reliable connection.
