3.3.1 Begin your installation by strategically placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve optimal unit leveling, ensuring the utmost precision.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons with spot welding at 4 to 5 points, ensuring stability and alignment.
The user shall manufacture and install the wedges tailored to their specific requirements, guaranteeing that the contact surface is meticulously finished for uniform contact of inclined planes.
These wedges must maintain a bearing capacity that does not exceed 40Kg/cm², ensuring reliability and durability.2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to establish the unit's level. The exacting leveling criteria dictate an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.
Achieving these precise measurements is crucial for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment of the coupling by following these essential preparatory steps:
1) Ensure that the main power supply is completely turned off for safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate alignment.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of debris, dirt, and any attachments.
5) The motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolts, allowing for sufficient adjustability when loosening to reposition the motor.
6) Ensure you have ample, pristine stainless steel gaskets to adequately cover the motor's feet. These gaskets must be free from any attachments and perfectly flat; avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which must be procured by the customer.
8) Prepare the specific bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the hub's edge, and place the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) By meticulously adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely, minimizing deviation to 0.05mm on the outer circle and achieving a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision.;
12) After conducting a motor idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to finalize the process.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and precise alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to solidify the setup.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component, vital for maintaining system integrity. Any intrusion of solid or liquid can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, ensuring the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines is paramount, complying with the required steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification.For enhanced protection, it is recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines should be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring that their weight is not borne by the compressor body, safeguarding its performance and longevity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been flawlessly installed and the concrete achieves full solidity, it is time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This marks a crucial phase in the setup, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for seamless integration. Utilize an underground threading pipe to meticulously connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet. After the cabinet is securely positioned, ensure the wiring terminals in the cabinet are expertly connected with the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating a smooth and efficient operation.
