Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor's base on the prepared foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is perfectly level. Proceed to spot weld the wedge irons at 4-5 points for stability.
Users are responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedges based on the specific requirements of their setup, paying close attention to ensure the contact surfaces are finished for even contact.
The inclined plane must achieve even contact, and each wedge iron should support no more than 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to precisely determine the unit's alignment. The unit's axial alignment must meet a stringent requirement of 0.05/1000mm,
while maintaining a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is perfectly centered is crucial. Before you commence the alignment, confirm the following steps:
1) Disconnect the main power to ensure safety;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate segment of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris or dirt that might affect installation;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole surpasses the bolt size, allowing for the looseness needed to adjust the motor accurately;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot coverage. Ensure each gasket is clean and perfectly flat, avoiding long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer should supply;
8) Assemble a supportive bracket for the dial indicator as depicted below;

9) Mount the dial indicator using the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts near the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft.

11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, re-evaluating the coupling’s outer circle runout and end face runout to confirm precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate segment.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts rigorously. After a mechanical run or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed component, demands protection against any solid or liquid intrusion, which could inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. It is imperative to uphold pristine inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate immediate rectification.
Integrating solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor should have external support, independent of the compressor body, to prevent undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are securely in place and the concrete has fully solidified, it's time to proceed with the exhilarating phase of the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures the integrity and functionality of the system, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity and safety, the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet must be carefully encased in threading pipe, discreetly laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, the next step involves linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a unified and efficient system.
