MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology that significantly reduces the need for external energy sources by expertly reutilizing the secondary steam it generates. The underlying principle of MVR is ingeniously simple yet highly effective: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is harnessed and compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. This process elevates both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, allowing it to be cycled back to the evaporator. Here, the elevated steam efficiently heats the materials once again, producing further evaporation. Through this intelligent process, MVR achieves an impressive recycling of the latent heat of vaporization found within the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, comprising several key components: the robust compressor body, precision coupling, durable gearbox, efficient lubrication system, powerful motor, sophisticated electric instrument, and advanced anti-surge control system. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, this system boasts a compact structure that ensures ease of maintenance, making it a convenient and reliable choice for any operation.
3.3.1 Begin by firmly positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. To achieve perfect leveling of the unit, strategically place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is completely level, proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Ensure these wedges are
designed and fitted by the user based on actual needs. The contact surface must be flawlessly finished, ensuring even contact on the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ensure the unit is perfectly level. The stringent leveling standards demand: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply.
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully.
3) Gently remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, dirt, or attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is slightly larger than the bolt size, allowing ease of loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor's footing. These gaskets must be flat and free of attachments. Avoid inserting long and thin gaskets between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter featuring an accuracy of 0.01mm, to be obtained by the customer.
8) Have ready a suitable bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, setting the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By tactfully adjusting the motor feet's adjustment bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines until they are virtually parallel (or follow specific guidelines). Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) After alignment, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Double-check both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test for optimal performance.
3.3.4 After fine-tuning the casing alignment and levelness, firmly fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen for review, and secure them again.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel, and any intrusion of solids or liquids can inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. Hence, it is crucial to ensure the cleanliness of pipelines connected to the compressor and conform to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines require rectification. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with precision in installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram closely to install all necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipelines connecting to the compressor are supported independently by a separate bracket, to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability, paving the way for seamless operations.
3.3.8 Ensure the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring should be expertly threaded through pipes that are routed underground, ensuring safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is set, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines leading to the remote DCS, securing a flawless communication pathway.
