At the heart of its innovation, the fundamental principle involves the secondary steam generated by the evaporator being skillfully compressed with a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process spectacularly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, enhancing both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, the elevated temperature of the secondary steam is cycled back to the evaporator, heating the materials, and sparking evaporation. This sophisticated cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, marking an impressive stride in sustainable energy use.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, prominently featuring a robust compressor body, seamless coupling, durable gearbox, efficient lubrication system, powerful motor, advanced electric instrumentation, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance, and is carefully crafted to deliver optimal performance in any industrial setting.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally onto a solid foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. After achieving level perfection, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points for enhanced stability. Each wedge should be
tailored and installed by the user according to the specific conditions. Ensure a smooth, finished contact surface for even engagement with inclined
planes. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to verify alignment. The unit's axial level must achieve a standard of 0.05/1000mm, and its horizontal level must be 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these meticulous standards are met for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling centering by adhering to these pre-alignment checks:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolt size to allow for adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of flat, stainless steel gaskets ready for motor support. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets to adjust between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm for accuracy (customer-provided);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Install the motor hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, and place the probe on the compressor's hub edge;
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle does not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line; the coupling end face should be within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for accuracy;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-level adjustment and alignment, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After initial mechanical operation, retighten the bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands pristine conditions; any solid or liquid intrusion can irreparably harm the compressor. Ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines below standard must be rectified to prevent damage.It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for optimal safety.
3.3.6 Securely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All pipelines must be fitted with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently, not relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its auxiliary equipment are elegantly installed, and the concrete foundation has completely solidified, you can embark on a comprehensive compressor operation test to ensure peak performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be conveniently positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The wiring, which seamlessly connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet, should be elegantly threaded through underground pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure to meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing flawless integration and operation.
