As the secondary steam undergoes a rise in pressure and temperature, it returns to the evaporator, serving as a heat source for materials, thereby facilitating evaporation. This ingenious cycle effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, showcasing an unparalleled efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a sophisticated array of components including the sturdy compressor body, reliable coupling, durable gearbox, efficient lubrication system, powerful motor, precise electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, it promises ease of maintenance, ensuring that operational efficiency is not only achieved but seamlessly maintained.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base as a whole onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for leveling adjustments.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons during the leveling process. Once leveled, spot weld these irons securely in 4 to 5 locations.
The user should craft and position the wedge according to the specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is finished for evenness.
Ensure the contact of the inclined plane is perfect and that the wedge iron's load capacity does not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a level to ensure accuracy. The specific leveling requirements are: unit's axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and its horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to enhance safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield for ease of access.
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Verify the motor's installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring no debris or dirt.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, facilitating motor adjustments.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and free of attachments. Avoid inserting long and thin gaskets between the motor and the base.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), to be provided by the customer.
8) Have a bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure.
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator along the hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should be slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and verify both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 After attaining optimal 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen bolts and re-tighten.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is susceptible to irreversible damage if solids or liquids infiltrate. Maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines for steam corrosion compliance. Pipelines not meeting these standards must be updated.Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Connect the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Install appropriated pipeline accessories based on the PI diagram. Ensure pipelines are supported independently, preventing strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has been completely solidified, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the Optimized Steam Compressor with Overall Base for Vanadium Wastewater performs flawlessly, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal performance. Ensure that the wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously threaded through underground pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is in place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a perfect integration for superior operation.
