3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally stationed upon a robust foundation. Skillfully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons, achieve perfect leveling, and secure them by spot welding at 4~5 strategic points.
The user should custom-manufacture and install wedges according to real-world conditions, ensuring a flawless contact surface.
Proper contact of the inclined plane is vital, with a load-bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision. The unit's leveling demands: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Attain impeccable alignment following these stringent criteria.
3.3.3 Ensure that the coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to alignment, verify these critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is off;
2) Detach the coupling shield for clear access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, free from debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, enabling easy adjustment;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready, flawless and free from attachments, avoiding slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (client provided);
8) Equip a bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Attach the motor hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting bolts around motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines, maintaining a max deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the low-speed compressor shaft.
11) Conclusively secure the motor foot bolts, reassessing outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-alignment and leveling adjustments, tighten anchor bolts. After trial operations, re-tighten bolts to ensure optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-velocity component. Any intrusion by solids or liquids can cause irreparable damage. Ensure connecting pipelines are pristine and meet steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be modified.Install solid-liquid separation apparatus like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Connect inlet and outlet compressor pipes. Install required pipeline accessories according to the PI diagram. Support the connecting pipeline independently, avoiding excess weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, you're ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that the system is in prime condition, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the unit. Ensure efficiency and safety by threading the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet underground through a secure conduit. With the electric control cabinet expertly positioned, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring flawless integration and control.
