The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using an ultra-efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation of both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heightened temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and triggering evaporation. Through this sophisticated recycling of latent heat of vaporization, the system achieves remarkable energy efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an engineering marvel that primarily comprises the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. The design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and streamlined operation. 3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Strategically place wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve perfect unit leveling.
Position each wedge-shaped iron alternately, meticulously leveling the unit and spot-welding the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. Ensure the wedges are
crafted and installed by the user considering the actual conditions, with finished contact surfaces for consistent
inclined plane contact. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, securing flawless operation.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is centered with absolute precision. Prior to commencing alignment, verify the following essential steps:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the central section of the diaphragm coupling meticulously;
4) Confirm the motor's installation plane is perfectly smooth and free from any foreign materials, dirt, or residues;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to finely tune the motor's position;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, ensuring they are flat and devoid of any attachments. Avoid using long, slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer should source independently;
8) Assemble the support bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to strategically position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the outer edge of the compressor hub;
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center), with a coupling end face of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, meticulously reviewing the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of 'levelness' and impeccable alignment of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are tightened with precision. Following mechanical operation (or trial operation), loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, demands utmost protection, as any solid or liquid infiltration can result in irreversible compressor damage. It is imperative to ensure the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must undergo rectification. It is stronglyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure peak performance and safety.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with necessary pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, ensuring no undue weight burden falls upon the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 After the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been precisely installed and the concrete base has achieved complete solidity, the stage is set for embarking on the exhilarating compressor operation test.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Wiring connections from the compressor to this cabinet should be elegantly streamlined using threading pipes that extend underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines located at the remote DCS for optimal integration.
