The core concept involves compressing the secondary steam, which is generated by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor. The DM Series Single-Stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel that encompasses multiple components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor's base integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Place these wedge-shaped irons in an alternating sequence. Once the unit is expertly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 carefully chosen points.
Each wedge should be user-crafted and installed based on the unique circumstances encountered. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for even inclined plane contact.
Remember, the bearing prowess of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Attain flawless leveling using a level tool. The precision leveling criteria are set at: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Masterful alignment of the coupling is essential. Prior to beginning this process, ensure the following critical steps are undertaken:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's smoothness, ensuring it is devoid of obstructions, dirt, and any attachments;
5) The motor's bolt hole should be slightly larger than the bolt itself, allowing flexibility for bolt loosening to adjust the motor positioning;
6) Prepare a generous supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to be placed under the motor's feet, ensuring they are free from attachments and are impeccably flat. Avoid using elongated, slender gaskets that might compromise fit;
7) Employ a dial indicator or opt for a laser alignment meter, both with a high accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer);
8) Use a specialized bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor hub's mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, and place the dial indicator probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor's feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, ensuring a deviation margin of only 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should be slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then comprehensively review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operations (or trial runs), loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-velocity rotating element; any ingress of solids or liquids will inflict irreversible damage. It is imperative that the pipelines attached to the compressor are immaculate and adhere to the steam corrosion standards of the system. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must undergo thorough rectification. We strongly advocate for the inclusion of solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Securely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. According to the PI diagram, import and export pipelines should be equipped with necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure that the compressor's connected pipeline is independently supported by a separate bracket, preventing undue weight from being borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the triumphant installation of the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has fully solidified with steadfast strength, the momentous compressor operation test can finally be conducted. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the flawless and efficient performance of the equipment.
3.3.8 The strategic placement of the electric control cabinet, positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor, allows for seamless integration. The wiring, meticulously connected via threading pipes that elegantly traverse underground, ensures a robust and concealed connection. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, the wiring terminals are harmoniously linked with the remote DCS lines, facilitating a streamlined communication network.
