MVR, an abbreviation for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to dramatically cut down on the need for external energy sources. It achieves this by ingeniously reutilizing the energy from secondary steam it generates. The core idea is simple yet effective: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator is compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, this heated and pressurized steam is redirected back to the evaporator. Here, it serves the dual purpose of heating the materials and inducing further evaporation, thus enabling the clever recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure that not only enhances its operational efficiency but also makes maintenance remarkably convenient and hassle-free. This sophisticated assembly allows for a seamless integration of components, ensuring that the system operates smoothly and reliably, providing an optimal solution for your industrial needs.
3.3.1 Begin by integrally placing the compressor base on the foundation. To finely adjust the unit level, place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These wedges will serve as crucial leveling tools, ensuring optimal performance.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring stability. These wedges should
be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the unique situation. It's essential that the contact surface is perfectly finished, ensuring even contact across the inclined plane. The wedge iron must have a
bearing capacity that does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve perfect unit leveling. The leveling criteria are stringent: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these specifications are meticulously met.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment. Before commencing, confirm these pre-conditions:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off;
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Examine the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from foreign particles, dirt, or attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole is slightly larger than the bolt, allowing for easy adjustments;
6) Have a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor foot. These gaskets must be pristine and flat, avoiding any long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (this equipment is to be prepared by the customer);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as demonstrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet meticulously, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain the maximum deviation of the outer circle at 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Ensure coupling end face deviation is within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and thoroughly review both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to finalize setup.
3.3.4 After achieving precise "levelness" and alignment, securely tighten all anchor bolts. Following any operational tests or trial runs, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed wonder, yet vulnerable to solid or liquid intrusions, which can irreversibly damage the compressor. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the steam corrosion grade of the system. Non-compliant pipelines require rectification. It is highlysuggested to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet, safeguarding the compressor’s integrity.
3.3.6 Precisely install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories, as per the PI diagram. The pipelines linked to the compressor should be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no weight.
3.3.7 Once the majestic main fan and its vital ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the stage is set for the exhilarating compressor operation test to commence.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a precise 5-meter radius of the compressor. The seamless connection from the compressor to this control cabinet should be elegantly executed via threading pipe, discreetly placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, ensure the wiring terminals within are harmoniously connected with the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a flawless operation.
