Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base upon the foundation, delicately place wedge-shaped shims beneath it to finely adjust the unit's level. This foundational alignment is crucial for optimal performance.
With precision, alternately position two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is level. Secure these irons by spot welding them at 4 to 5 strategic points, creating a stable base.
The user should fabricate and install the wedges, considering the specific conditions. The contact surfaces must be meticulously finished for uniform contact with the inclined plane.
Remember, the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron is restricted to not exceed a maximum of 40Kg/cm

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain exact horizontality. The unit’s leveling specifications are set at an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled stability.
Such precision guarantees optimum functionality and reliability.

3.3.3 Master the art of coupling centering. Prior to starting the alignment process, diligently verify the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation surface to confirm it is free of debris, dirt, and extraneous attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must be slightly larger than the bolts themselves to allow for fine-tuning and motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet. The gaskets should be pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding long and slender gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket for dial indicator support, as depicted in the illustration below;

9) The motor hub's mounting bracket is designed to affix a dial indicator to the hub's edge, with the probe delicately placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By judiciously adjusting the motor foot adjustment bolts, ensure the compressor and motor center lines align precisely. The outer circle's maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be maintained between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Ultimately, secure the motor foot bolts tightly, double-checking the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision;;
12) Once the motor idling test is complete, seamlessly install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After fine-tuning the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following any mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring solidity.
3.3.5 Protecting the high-speed rotating impeller is paramount. Prevent any solid or liquid ingress that could irreparably harm the compressor. It is vital to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipelines failing to meet these criteria must be addressed and rectified. Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to further safeguard the system.
Such precautions are indispensable for maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that the import and export pipelines are equipped with the appropriate accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. Each pipeline connecting to the compressor should be independently supported by a separate bracket to prevent unwarranted stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment is complete and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can seamlessly initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal functionality and performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring must be carefully routed through underground threading pipes, connecting the compressor to the cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, ensure the wiring terminals are flawlessly connected to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing seamless communication and control.
