The core principle revolves around channeling the secondary steam produced by the evaporator through a high-efficiency steam compressor. Here, electrical energy is skillfully transformed into thermal energy, resulting in an increased pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is then reintroduced to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and facilitates further evaporation, ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DML series, renowned for its low temperature rise steam compression, is meticulously crafted with a multitude of precision components. At its heart lies the compressor body, comprising the intricately designed volute, robust impeller, durable main shaft, and bearing housing, along with high-quality seals. Accompanying these are a precision-engineered coupling, a powerful motor, and an advanced electrical instrument system, all working in concert to deliver unparalleled performance and efficiency.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously aligned on the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve perfect leveling, and spot weld the irons securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges are
to be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to actual requirements, ensuring the contact surface is finished for even, reliable contact.
The wedge iron must sustain no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level for precision leveling. The unit's alignment specifications: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled stability.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Confirm the following prerequisites before beginning alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield securely;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section carefully;
4) Verify the motor installation surface is impeccably flat, free of debris or dirt;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is generously sized for bolt adjustment during motor alignment;
6) Stock sufficient, flawless stainless steel gaskets for motor support, avoiding thin, long gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy for precise alignment (user-provided);
8) Prepare a robust bracket for dial indicator support as illustrated below;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator along the wheel hub's edge, ensuring accurate probe placement;
10) Fine-tune the motor foot adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor along the same central line, maintaining a maximum
outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring motor shaft center is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center.11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the outer circle and end face runouts.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal "levelness" and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post-trial operation, loosen and retighten them.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands clean inlet and outlet pipelines to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure compliance with steam corrosion specifications and consider installing solid-liquid separators like gas scrubbers beforehand.
3.3.6 Affix the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with specified accessories per the PI diagram. Support any connected pipelines with independent brackets to prevent strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its auxiliary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, it's time to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that all components function harmoniously, solidifying the foundation for reliable performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly carried out with underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, seamlessly link the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet with the remote DCS lines, ensuring a flawless and robust communication pathway.
