3.3.1 Begin by strategically positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precision leveling.
Place these shims in an alternating pattern. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for optimal stability.
Craft and install the wedges according to your specific needs. Ensure a finished contact surface for seamless alignment and stability.
The inclined planes must evenly match, and note the wedge's weight-bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve precision. The unit's leveling standards require an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
This precision ensures impeccable operational balance and efficiency.
3.3.3 Master the art of centering the coupling. Before taking the first step in alignment, confirm these critical prerequisites:
1) Securely switch off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to gain access;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling with care;
4) Meticulously verify the motor installation plane is free from any contaminants or obstructions;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolt size for smooth adjustments;
6) Arm yourself with ample flat, stainless steel gaskets devoid of attachments. Avoid using narrow gaskets between the motor and base;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Mount a dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket. Position the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust bolts around motor feet to align motor and compressor center lines. Ensure a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Achieve a coupling end face range of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Firmly secure motor foot bolts and verify outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Post motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section for smooth operation.
3.3.4 After achieving superior 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, proceed to tighten anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, revisit bolt tension for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a precision high-speed component, demands vigilance. Any solid or liquid infiltration can cause irreversible damage. Ensure connected pipelines are scrupulously clean and compliant with steam corrosion standards. Perform necessary pipeline rectifications if required.It is highly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) ahead of the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure all accessories on import and export pipelines align with the PI diagram. Provide independent support for these pipelines, avoiding any undue stress on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has completely set, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is running smoothly and effectively.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be achieved through threading pipe, discreetly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, carefully link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS system, ensuring seamless connectivity and control.
