3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally positioned on the foundation. To achieve a perfectly leveled unit, wedge-shaped shims are strategically placed beneath the base.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Upon achieving the ideal level, secure the irons with spot welds at 4~5 points. The wedge, tailored to your specific needs,
should be fabricated and installed by the user, ensuring a flawless contact surface with an even inclination.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must be restricted to no more than 40Kg/cm2.).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. Adhere to these meticulous requirements: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is set at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is perfectly centered is crucial. Before initiating alignment, fulfill these prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the primary power supply.
2) Detach the coupling shield with care.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a pristine surface.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt dimensions to allow loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Ample stainless steel gaskets should be prepared, devoid of debris, to rest flatly beneath the motor. Avoid using elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision, procured by the client.
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Use a motor wheel hub bracket to position the dial indicator on the hub's edge, allowing precise probe placement on the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Align the compressor and motor center lines by adjusting motor foot bolts, ensuring a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft, and coupling end face within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) After a successful motor idle test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are optimized, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, release and re-tighten the bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity component, must remain free from solid or liquid contaminants to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion specifications. If discrepancies exist, undertake corrective actions immediately.Consider integrating solid-liquid separation solutions, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 For the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram, incorporating all necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure the connected pipeline is supported independently, not burdening the compressor.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its auxiliary equipment are firmly in place and the concrete has reached its full strength, you can proceed to conduct the operation test of the compressor. This crucial step ensures that everything is functioning perfectly before moving forward.
3.3.8 The installation of the compressor's electric control cabinet is pivotal; it should be positioned within a 5m radius from the compressor. Use the threading pipe to connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet, ensuring it is laid underground for protection. Once the electric control cabinet is securely situated, it's vital to link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS to ensure seamless operation and communication.
